Description
All summer long, we're giving out free meals to students, to help make sure kids have access to breakfast and lunch when school isn't in session. Just look for the signs, tables, or tents!
Meals are offered every Monday through Thursday, now through August 9.
Breakfast is served from 8-9 a.m.
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Offered at two locations:
Carrboro High (201 Rock Haven Road, Carrboro)
FPG Bilingüe (101 Smith Level Road, Chapel Hill)
There are also Mobile Meal Delivery of lunches into neighborhoods on the same dates with menus that mirror the lunches served at the schools:
Lunch is served at 30 minute scheduled stops at these neighborhoods (times are approximate):
Craig St./Gomains Ave., 10:15 a.m.
Oakwood, 10:45 a.m.
Airport Gardens, 11:15 a.m.
Colony Woods West, 11:45 a.m.
South Estes, 12:15 p.m.
