Lake Michie offers some of the finest largemouth bass fishing in the Piedmont. N.C. Wildlife Resource Commission fishing licenses are required. Launch your own boat for a relaxing day of fishing without the hassles found at larger lakes. Lake Michie also offers an ADA accessible boat house, dock, and canoe/kayak launch.
2023 Season:
- Lake Michie is open to the public Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from Friday, March 10 through Monday, November 6, 2023.
- Lake hours are from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
